Core Principle
Your conversations stay private. VibeAI FoldSpace processes everything locally on your device. We never send, store, or access your data on any server — because we don't operate any servers that receive user data.
This is not a legal caveat or a future commitment. It is the architectural foundation of the product. The extension has no backend. No API calls carrying user content. No telemetry pipeline. Every analysis that VibeAI FoldSpace performs happens inside your browser, on your machine, under your control.
What VibeAI FoldSpace Does
VibeAI FoldSpace helps you stay mentally engaged while using AI — it detects thinking patterns in real time (active, passive, or exploratory) and offers optional coaching nudges, focus controls, and reflection prompts. All analysis happens locally in your browser.
The extension observes conversation structure on supported AI chat platforms (ChatGPT, Claude.ai, and Gemini) to determine your current engagement stage. Chat content is read locally for that classification and immediately discarded — it is never transmitted and never persisted, with one explicit exception: if you click the bookmark button on a message, the first 80 characters of that message are stored as a preview on your device only. Bookmark previews — important disclosure
If you explicitly click the bookmark button on a message, the first 80 characters of that message are stored as a preview, alongside an optional user-supplied note (capped at 200 characters). This is the only place where chat content reaches persistent storage. Bookmarks live in chrome.storage.local under vibeai_bookmarks and are never transmitted off your device.

Section 5 — Optional Uninstall Feedback
If you remove VibeAI FoldSpace, your browser will open an optional GitHub feedback form pre-filled with the extension version, days since install, and your browser type (Chrome or Edge). No personal information, chat content, or behavioral data is included. Submitting the form is entirely voluntary — closing the tab sends nothing.
What We Do NOT Do
Your Privacy Controls
- Consent required. VibeAI FoldSpace only activates after you explicitly grant permission. You may revoke consent at any time via the extension settings.
- Focus Mode. Use the ⋯ menu to temporarily pause all nudges for 2 or 12 hours. Stored locally as a timer. Expires automatically.
- Coach Intensity. Choose Off, Minimal, Standard, or Active from the ⋯ menu. Saved locally and applied immediately.
- To disable. Remove the extension from Chrome or Edge, or use the ⋯ menu to turn off coaching entirely without uninstalling.
- To delete all data. All data is local — uninstalling removes everything. You may also clear
chrome.storage.localandlocalStoragemanually via browser DevTools (Application tab).
Policy Statements
The following statements reflect the data disclosure filed with the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store:
- Local processing only. All analysis runs entirely within your browser. No conversation data is sent to any server.
- No data transmission. VibeAI FoldSpace does not transmit, upload, or share any user data externally.
- No tracking. We do not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
- No data selling. We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties.
- Local storage only. Consent preferences and session settings are stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your device.
- No conversation content transmitted. No conversation content is transmitted externally under any circumstance.
- User-deletable. All stored data is user-deletable via browser settings or the extension's reset function.
- Device-bound. This data never leaves your device.
Open Source Commitment & Intellectual Property
VibeAI FoldSpace's analysis engine is built on transparent, auditable code with no external dependencies. All JavaScript submitted to the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store is human-readable, unminified, and unobfuscated — consistent with both stores' policies and Hugonomy's commitment to transparency.
Hugonomy Systems claims common-law trademark rights through commercial use in the following product names: Hugonomy™, VibeAI™, FoldSpace™, HugoScore™, Thinking Mirror™. None of these marks are currently registered with the USPTO.
